17" Notebook Laptop, Clean, for Parts or Repair in Pompano Beach, Florida For Sale

HP Pavilion dvxxxxcl, 17" notebook computer.
This is a great computer for someone who wants to repair, or who wants the parts. It is being sold as-is, because I can't get it to start. These HPs were known for poor soldering, and I think that's the problem, but not sure. I had it professionally reflowed one time (fix the solder connections). This time, when it suddenly quit working, I decided to sell it.
It is being sold as pictured, without the hard drive. However, it does come with recovery disks, so someone who maybe wants to tinker with it, will then have the operating system and original software to install.

I upgraded it to 4GB of DDR2 RAM, and had been running Windows 7 on it. Originally it came with Vista (and that's what the recovery disks are).
This is a fantastic computer, and one of the few that sold with a remote control, which slides into the side. Another nice fact of 17" laptops is that you can install two hard drives, which is what I had done with this one. It comes with the manuals, the recovery disks, the remote control, a working battery, and the charger & cord (I forgot those in the photos, but they are included). As you can see, it's very clean. Very little signs of wear, because I take good care of my computers, and clean them regularly. Screen has no dead pixels, and no scratches. Top of lid is shiny with hardly a scratch.
